The NDDOT is proposing structural improvements along ND 49 from the State Line north to the junction of ND 21 in Sioux and Grant Counties, North Dakota. The project consists of cement stabilized full-depth reclamation with new hot bituminous pavement, subcuts to correct areas with poor subgrade, removal of abandoned railroad tracks, structure overlays, and turn lane evaluations. Apex environmental completed the following tasks:

• USACE jurisdictional determination request
• Solicitation of views
• Programmatic Categorial Exclusion
• Endangered Species Act effect determinations
• Public involvement meetings
