The City of Bismarck retained Apex Engineering Group in 2013 to assist in the review of Storm Water Management Plans for both plats and site plans. Bismarck had been experiencing rapid growth and the city was too short-staffed to keep up with the number of reviews required. Our past experience in various stormwater projects with Bismarck has helped with understanding the impacts of new development on the city’s overall infrastructure, including their stormwater collection systems.

Apex reviewed storm water management plans submitted by other engineers and developers and checked for compliance with city municipal codes and standards. As part of the review of plans and specs for various projects in the city, our water resource engineers and civil engineers have been reviewing stormwater management plans and large site developments when required as per the city’s municipal code.
