James joined the Detroit Lakes office in 2022 as a summer intern. He has since joined the municipal group full-time as an engineering technician. As part of his role, he does design, inspection and some survey work. Prior to Apex, he did estimation and design work at a metal manufacturer. James earned a degree in Civil Engineering Technology from Minnesota State Community and Technical College in Detroit Lakes.
