Kristi Nicholson 25 Women in Business Award
Congratulations to our very own Kristi Nicholson on being selected as one of Prairie Business’ 25 Women in Business for 2023! Throughout Kristi’s career, she has worn many hats and is now the Apex Operations Coordinator. When Apex was formed in 2010, her role in managing administrative tasks was vital as the company established itself. She was also the one that prepared proposals and reports for the project managers which allowed her to learn what every engineer in the company did and who the clients were. As the company has grown to more than 100 people across five offices, Kristi still communicates with many people across the organization in a given week. Company leadership leans on her for assistance in getting key company initiatives kicked off and completed.
Kristi helped launch, develop and volunteered to lead Apex’s Employee Engagement and Brand Ambassador Group. Kristi has always had a reputation for going above and beyond what is expected, and then she does a little bit more.
The annual Prairie Business list includes women business professionals from across North Dakota, South Dakota and western Minnesota.
