2018 ACEC Award
Apex is pleased to announce that our Transportation group, in conjunction with the City of Minot, and the North Dakota Department of Transportation has received a 2018 ACEC award!
This award was given in recognition of our work on the Burdick Expressway Reconstruction project in Minot, North Dakota. This project included realigning the roadway and expanding it throughout to allow wider driving lanes and additional turning lanes. Regarding the aging infrastructure, water and sanitary lines were replaced, and the storm sewer was resized to solve the inundation issues that occurred with heavy rain events.
Apex staff prepared a detailed traffic control plan and worked closely with shareholders and local businesses to address their needs during this construction. This $4,435,000 project was substantially completed in the summer of 2018.
